Chosen as one of the winning designs for the 10 Around Town competition, ed swan was commissioned to realise the giant number "10" which represented "performance" – one of ten words that embodied Sun Microsystems’ new "Solaris 10" software platform.
The sleek gloss surface was perforated with small peepholes and a giant eyebrow, encouraging passers by to peer inside and view the bespoke "performance" related photos inside (see images).
Exhibited on St. Helens Piazza and Victoria Station, London.
